Andrew's Career Day

Last week Andrew's preschool class talked about what they wanted to be when they grow up. The note his teacher sent home describing the week's activities said that they were going to spend the week talking about different jobs and also about how Superman and Batman are not real people (they're superheros!) and for girls, how being a princess is not really a career ambition.

The kids were also asked to dress up on Friday as what they wanted to be when they grow up. We talked to Andrew all week about it and he was fixated on being a fireman. So we surprised him Friday morning with the coolest fireman costume ever (thanks Mom Mom!). He lived in the costume all weekend long and he probably would have slept in it if we had let him!
