Handy as a Pocket on a T-shirt

I am one lucky gal ... I am constantly amazed at how handy my dear husband is! He does so much around around the house that we have taken to saying that he is "as handy as a pocket on a t-shirt."

He is a jack of all trades and seems to be able to figure just about everything out and he is a perfectionist to boot.

We are busy putting our house back together as the contractors are finishing up (finally!) the work on our home from the hurricane and the additional renovations we had them do as well. It is so exciting to see everything come together, but invariably there are things that need to be adjusted or changes that I want to make (new fans, new light fixtures, new toilet kits, caulking, etc) and Doug has risen to each challenge like a super star.

Andrew loves to help his daddy and I am so happy that he is a great role model who can teach him how to be a mister fix-it when he grows up.

I am definitely going to keep him around! :)
