As some of you know, I assisted or what is also called acting as a "second shooter" in a wedding a couple of weeks ago. The photos are now available online:

Some of my ceremony shots and reception shots made it into the mix :)
It was a great learning experience and I am excited to continue to work with other photographers to improve my shooting skills. One lesson learned: shooting weddings is hard work! Other lessons: it is all about the lens on the camera body, learning to bounce light is important and you need a fast enough shutter speed to hand hold the camera (with no camera shake)! Shooting in manual can be your friend ... but I am still getting comfortable there.
Jon (the main photog) was really into trying to capture some neat shots through trying new techniques with light. That is the beauty of digital photography - it doesn't cost a cent to take a bunch of extra photos to try something new and different. As you can see from the photos online, there were no shortage of pictures taken!
