The good news is that Tyler's hearing does not appear to have been affected by the repeated ear infections. The bad news is that the doctor pretty much said that we have two choices -- continued infections treated with antibiotics or ear tubes.
Tyler has surgery scheduled for June 16th -- the first day they could fit us in. Poor little guy!
All of the mommies I know who have children that have tubes say that it makes a huge difference and that it is totally worth it, so we are hoping to see the same results!

my nephew josh had them also. from what i hear, it is not a biggie. i am praying for him though. see you soon!
Both our boys have them - they were such a relief once they were in. Colton had his first set at 13 months and his second about a year later. Carter (our baby) had his first set at about 10 months and we have not had to repeat. Good luck!
