2008 Wrap Up

2008 was yet another big year for the Moore family ...

Here are just some of the Moore highlights for the year 2008:

- Tyler turned 1 in February
- Anne's First Ski Trip (something on my bucket list!) in March and our first trip as a couple away from the boys
- I paid off my first car and Doug bought a new car in April
- A sad event – our beloved Major's death in July
- Andrew turned 4 in July
- The Moore Family trip to Destin and Orlando (Disney World!) in August
- The Moore Boys started new schools in September
- Hurricane Ike damaged our home in September --- and we are still getting it fixed!
- I completed my first Half Ironman in October and registered for a full Ironman for November 2009
- The Moore Family trip to Belleville, IL to Jenny and Rustan's wedding in October

These are but a few of the many exciting things that happened in 2008. Some of the best memories from 2008 are the small moments we spent as a family or with friends when craziness ensued, new friendships were born or just getting that extra kiss good night from a certain 4 year old that didn't want to go to bed.

Another new year is upon us and we are excited about the many adventures yet to come! 2009 will be a big year for me personally (I turn 30!) and I hope that those of you reading will stick around for the ride!
