Andrew's school had a book fair this week and Doug met him in the library to help him pick out a couple of books. He brought three new books home, including a book called Pout Pout Fish.
This book is about a fish who wears a perpetual pout and "spreads the dreary wearies all over the place" -- that is until a sleek pretty fish surprises him with a kiss! Mr. Pout Pout realizes that he has been wrong all along, he is actually a kiss kiss fish!
Well, as we were reading the story tonight when we got to the page with the sleek, pretty fish, he said that he was the pout pout fish and that Sophia was the sleek pretty fish ... who, oh by the way, was about to kiss the pout pout fish!
I think Andrew has fallen pretty hard for sweet Sophia! Is it bad that I am already worried about her breaking his heart?
