What does boyfriend/girlfriend mean in pre-k? From my observations, it really just means that Sally Sue's favorite boy in the class is Billy and that Billy's favorite girl is Sally Sue, for the moment at least.
Not all the pre-k kids were into the boyfriend/girlfriend thing though and up until April, Andrew didn't like to talk about the girls in his class. He would get very bashful if we asked him about Zoe any other little girls. He would make yucky faces while really trying to hide his embarrassment.
Well, that all changed at the end of March when Andrew started talking about a little girl named Sophia -- all the time. They are in class together and they are on the same t-ball team so they get to spend lots of time together. Well, last night Andrew told me a secret (forgive me for sharing this with the world, buddy!) ... he thinks Sophia is pretty and he likes her!
I was thrilled that Andrew would trust me with his secret (I was even told not to tell Daddy)! Well, tonight, Andrew told Daddy a secret too and Daddy was not supposed to tell me. Side bar, Andrew really needs to learn Mommy and Daddy don't keep secrets from each other.
So, are you ready for the big reveal?
Sophia asked Andrew to marry him and he said a resounding "ok!"
How sweet is that?

That's the cutest thing I've ever heard (or read), and Andrew has good taste, Sophia is a cutie!
Oh my that is precious! Definitely a story he will enjoy hearing when he's much older.
