We have had Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders for over a year and last night I decided to try them out again with Andrew to see if he had the patience to sit and play a board game now ... and the answer was a clear yes!
Andrew has more patience for Candy Land than Chutes and Ladders but we have played both games twice now and he has won 3 of the 4 games. We are still teaching him that there is only one winner, but the good news is that he didn't throw a fit when he lost.
I have a feeling that we are going to be playing Candy Land so often now that visions of sugar plums will be dancing in my head!
