My 4 year old Spider Man

Andrew has super hero aspirations.

Ask him what movie he wants to watch? Spider Man. What does he want to wear to bed? Spider Man Underoos. What does he want to wear under his clothes (like Peter Parker)? Spider Man shirt.

Andrew makes Spider Man references all the time ...

*Last weekend at the park, we were climbing on a rope structure and Andrew made it nearly to the top. I followed him up and when I nearly reached the top he stretched out his hand to me and said, "Take Spiderman's hand, I'll help you".

*Tuesday night at bedtime Doug was tickling Andrew and I was telling Doug to stop bothering Andrew. I hated being tickled to the point of screaming as a child so I try to remember that as we play with the boys. Well, before I could say anything else, Andrew turned to me and said "Spider Man has it under control".

*Tonight at bed, Andrew told me that Spider Man saved Zoe at school. Zoe is a cute little girl in his class and Doug usually makes Andrew blush by asking Andrew questions like, "Did you play with Zooooeeeee today?" or "Is Zooooeeeee your girlfriend?" Tonight Andrew actually told me that Zoe is pretty. That's my guy!

*Andrew helped me put Tyler to bed tonight and I forgot to let Tyler kiss Andrew before putting him in his crib. So, as soon as I put Tyler down, he immediately started saying "D-drew" (his name for Andrew). Andrew went over to his crib, kissed him good night and told him that if he needed anything at all, just to call him and he would come and take care of it. What a good big brother!

*Andrew has started to notice when people are kissing on TV and he immediately responds with "Ewwww, they're smooching!" I am not sure where he got that, but it just reminds me of how fast he is growing up!
