Music to my ears

I thought hearing Andrew say, "I love you, Mommy" would be the best thing I would ever hear Andrew say, and don't get me wrong it makes my heart melt every time he says it and I absolutely love hearing it, but in the last week or so Andrew has started saying "I love baby Tyler" and "I like him" -- without being prompted -- and that makes me melt even more! It is so important to me that the boys grow up as good friends and this just makes me feel like it is a step in that direction. Plus, it reaffirms that Andrew is happy that he has a little brother.

Andrew loves to hold Tyler and we let him as often as Tyler will let us, that is, when Tyler will put up with Andrew holding him :) If Tyler starts to cry too much, Andrew gives him right back!

I am still working on a good shot of the boys together ... in addition to trying to capture this photo at home we are going to try for some bluebonnet photos this weekend. Crossing fingers for cool, dry weather and GREAT photos!
